The problem with a clean answer

A clean answer is often just a well-lit surface. It can be accurate from where it stands and still conceal the structure that matters most.

I tend to understand a problem by moving around it. A product can reveal one face, a strategy another, a song another, and a disagreement the one that was missing. The work looks scattered if each artifact is judged as a separate category. It becomes coherent when they are treated as different views of the same underlying object.

The Angle is a method

The Angle is not a stream of content and it is not a performance of constant certainty. It is a place to master ideas that have already been tested across conversations, products, systems, mistakes, and revisions.

Each article chooses a strong angle without claiming final possession of the object. Counterangles remain part of the record. Sources stay attached. Predictions can be dated. Corrections do not weaken the work; they reveal its depth.

No surface pretends to be the whole object.

From archive to public work

The source material is abundant: years of dialogue, prototypes, visual experiments, operating decisions, and ideas that arrived before they had a public form. Publishing everything would not make it a canon. Selection does.

The editorial act is to preserve the original language, separate authorship from assistance, merge duplicates without erasing evolution, and decide which ideas are complete enough to stand in public. The article is the master recording. Short posts, diagrams, talks, and products are different mixes—not substitutes for the source.

An inspectable point of view

The ambition is not to prove that I see everything differently. It is to make outside-the-box thinking legible enough to evaluate. A distinct angle matters when it opens a direction with compounding value, not merely when it sounds original.

The work should therefore show its evidence, its limits, and the other angles it excludes. A point of view becomes more useful when the viewer can inspect how it was made.

Action / reaction

A claim becomes useful when it survives another angle.

Action / current thesis

A single product, essay, image, metric, or conversation is only one camera position; understanding arrives by preserving the tensions between many partial views.

Reaction / counterangle

Rotating an object forever can become its own form of avoidance; an angle matters only when it eventually commits to a useful view.
